Blue wins Best of Breed

By Staff

Cheyenne, Wyoming - August 29, 2009 marked a small step in the evolution of Blue (CH PyrPressure Rouge, Blanc et Bleu) when he won Best of Breed in Wyoming at the Cheyenne Kennel Club Dog Show.  Blue is a young dog that has been in the shadow of other, older PyrPressure dogs in the past.  On this day he stepped out of the shadows and took his place as yet another PyrPressure Best of Breed winner.

Blue drew a robust round of applause from strangers watching him perform in the Working Group ring.  Although he did not come away with a place in the top 4, comments from spectators after the group were extremely complimentary.

Pride Does It Again

By Staff

Helena, Montana - Today, in the state of Montana, Pride (CH PyrPressure L'Orgueil, HOF) did it again, winning Best of Breed under Judge Mrs. Patricia V. Trotter, followed up with a Group 1 win under Judge Dr. Klaus Anselm in the Working Group and then on to another Best In Show awarded by Judge Ms. Letitia Bett at the Helena Montana Kennel Club show

Pride had arrived in Montana after taking a few days off to run, play and rest at home.  He missed the Gallatin Dog Club Shows at the same venue on Thursday and Friday, allowing him time to rest and prepare for the weekend shows.  He came out of the starting gate on Saturday (September 19, 2009) with a flash to win Best of Breed under Judge Mrs. Joan P. Anselm, then went on to win a Group 1 in the Working Group under Mrs. Anselm.  Pride, however, fell short of winning Best in Show on Saturday under Judge Mrs. Patricia V. Trotter.  However, Mrs. Trotter had a hand in his Best in Show win on Sunday by selecting him Best of Breed, allowing him to go on to win his Group 1 and Best in Show under Ms. Bett.

Pride continues to improve and is enjoying the dog show circuit more than ever.  After one person's comments to owners to prepare emotionally for the fact that he would never win a Best in Show, he has gone on to prove the naysayer wrong by winning 2 specialties, 2 Working Dog shows and 2 All Breed shows in slightly more than 2 weeks.

Way to go Pride.
